Have you been to Lowe's lately? OMG the color and variety of planting material is enough to overwhelm. But I did not go overboard, I think. Got some plants in last weekend, a few more during the week, and finished today. My knees are shot, my back is shot, my eyes still sting from the sweat, but I like what my efforts look like. Well, once everything is in bloom, that is. I got some spring color, and some summer color that won't bloom for a while. I will take pictures, but right now the forecast is calling for rain, so it'll have to wait, the picture taking that is.

I have nothing in particular to write about. I just haven't written in a while, and I felt an urge to write. It's odd, right? I don't want to sit and ramble on about nothing, but here I am nonetheless. In my recent blog walks, I've found that people are writing less. In fact, this has been noted and written about by one of my favorite bloggers.  I haven't written much lately because every time I've sat down to the computer, I got real sad thinking about my dad. I miss him so much, and the tears stil come so easily. Not one for writing thru tears, I've just not written anything. No blogging, no emailing. But today I just felt like writing something, even if it's of no substance. I just felt like it, so here I am. A sign my sadness is lifting, I guess.

 

For now, though, I'm just noticing the time, I have to study for a test, so I'll go. More again later.....
